How much does sandblasting cost?
Every project is priced individually. Cost depends on the type of surface, whether the work is indoors or outdoors, how accessible the area is (for example, whether scaffolding is needed), location, and the total area to be treated. We’re not able to give a ballpark figure without seeing the job first, so we provide a free, no-obligation survey and quote before any work begins.
Do you only do houses, or can you handle industrial and commercial jobs too?
Both. Alongside residential brick, stone and timber, we regularly work on commercial and industrial projects, including equipment and machinery. Past clients include Burnley College, Templeborough Biomass Power Station and Create Bespoke Kitchens.
What makes your sandblasting eco-friendly?
We use recycled crushed glass as our abrasive wherever possible, rather than virgin sand. Once an abrasive has been used for blasting it can’t be recycled again, so choosing an already-recycled material reduces waste.
Do you offer other cleaning methods, like chemical or water jet cleaning?
No, we specialise purely in abrasive sandblasting rather than offering a mix of methods. That focus is what lets us get the pressure, abrasive grade and technique right for each surface, whether it’s fine work on old stonework or heavier removal on metal and vehicles.
Have you worked on older or period properties?
Yes. We’ve restored brickwork and stonework on a number of older Yorkshire properties, including a full 1930s house exterior, without damaging the original material underneath.
Is sandblasting safe for old brick or stonework?
Yes, when the right abrasive and pressure are used. We assess each surface before starting and choose a fine, medium or coarse abrasive depending on the condition of the original material, to avoid unnecessary damage.
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes, we’re open seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm.
Do you cover my area?
We travel throughout Yorkshire and within around 2 hours of our base in Birkenshaw, West Yorkshire, including West Yorkshire (Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Batley, Pudsey, Morley, Castleford, Pontefract, Keighley, Brighouse, Ossett, Wetherby, Otley, Ilkley), South Yorkshire (Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster), North Yorkshire (York, Harrogate, Ripon, Skipton, Selby), Greater Manchester and Lancashire (Manchester, Burnley, Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton, Blackburn, Preston), Merseyside (Liverpool), and Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (Chesterfield, Derby, Nottingham). If you’re outside this list but still within reach, get in touch, we’re happy to discuss travel for the right project.
How long does a typical job take?
This depends on the size and complexity of the project. We’ll give you a time estimate as part of your free survey.
Do you clean up afterwards?
Yes, we bring the equipment needed to clear up after every job.
Can I see reviews from other customers?
Yes, we’re reviewed on Google, and we were recently featured in All Right Leeds’ roundup of the top sandblasting services in Leeds, alongside recognition for our eco-friendly approach and work on older properties.
